Check out craigslist.com under "clothing." People occassionally sell their wedding dresses on there really cheap.

Also, ebay is a great source. I bought my dress on there for $167 brand new. It was almost exactly like the one I wanted at David's Bridal that cost $700+. If you're going to do ebay though, remember to check the seller's feedback.. Of course, you always want to be careful :)

If you look for a bridal shop in your area that has a website you should be able to find links to the designers they carry. That way you could find a ton of dresses that are also available near you.
