Do doctors contact you after a Quad Screen & 20 wk ultrasound?

Just curious because it's been 2 weeks since my Quad Screen and about a week since my ultrasound. Do I have to wait until my next appointment for results, or do I call/wait to be called by the office? I just want to make certain that the baby is healthy of course, and having no results yet makes me nervous. What did you guys do? Thanks in advance for your help!

Update:

Like I said SS it's been two weeks. It's my first child and I don't know the drill, so thanks for your SUPER informative non answer.

well, last monday, i had my quad screen, and so my doc made the appointment 2 weeks later, instead of a month later so that we could go over the results.

everyone is different, so i would just call the doc and ask if it's his policy to go over the results when they come in or to wait till the next regular appointment.

    Same with the ultrasound.

And, in my opinion, if they would have found something out of the ordinary, they would have called you.. so no news is good news??

  • They didn't contact me, I had to ask them. Everything came back normal though, so that could be why. If you haven't heard from them, I would say thats a good thing!
