How many (white) presidents of the US have been helped to their office by the vote of Black citizens...?

...who did not even think to question if the man was a racist or if he would "put his own people first"? Why should this candidate be any different?

...and, guess what? He's as much white as he is Black!!! DUH!!!

After the Bush victory of 2000 I wonder if "we, the people" are even part of the electoral process anymore.

I still don't understand how a person can receive the majority of the popular vote and still loose.

(No I am not bitter! I truly don't understand.)

You, along with many others, have made excellent points about the abilities of the person not the color of their skin.

But the darkness of ignorance is thick.

How many people would rather loose their sons and daughters in an war with no legitimate beginning than vote for someone of a different race?

It's a sad commentary Ms Joey's Back, but I still got faith.

There is way too much 'right' in the universe for this little bit of wrong last much longer.
