In reading his life history, I see that he has kept the grudge against his ex-wife after 50 years. He published her "new name" just for spite. Is this some one whose opinion you would trust?

yes, he is highly recommended in many influential circles including his career and colleges. He doesn't have a grudge against his wife, he just is upset because his wife chose the LDS church over her husband, which is all to common in the "families are forever" Mormon church, as the church makes their women divorce their men if they leave the church.

After perusing his website, I question his intellectual honesty. And no, I wouldn't trust someone who still has a grudge against an ex of 50 years.

I find his ideas stand well on their own merit.
One wonders if you are attacking the messenger because you can't fault the message itself.
