Should I send another email if I want to add something to my resume/cover letter?

I have applied for a temporary assitant position and have sent in my cover letter and resume via email. I just raelized there was something I forgot to tell the employer in my cover letter and resume when I'll be available for work. Since in the ad, she needs someone to be avaible immediately. Should i email her again to let her know about my availability?

Thanks

I think it speaks to the thoroughness of your work. You forgot to include an important piece of information in a letter, as an employer, I would wonder if you would forget important pieces of information on a letter you were sending on my behalf.

I would skip sending it, if the ad requests that the respondent be available immediately, she will assume that you are available immediately. No need to send anything additional.
