Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm watching Bringing Home Baby right now! These shows always make me emotional. They always did after my other kids were born too. I think you're just empathizing with the new parents, and there's nothing wrong with that!

Yup for me it was Hallmark commercials too! And don't even try to watch a show about something bad happening to a baby. I had to stop watching all my favorite crime shows (law and order, csi, criminal minds etc.) because something bad was always happening to a baby or a kid and I couldn't take it even though it wasn't real. I think it was the hormones or something because I would get so upset!!! It did go away tho after about 6 months.

I used to like them, now I hate them for depicting labor so unrealistically, even the TLC or Discovery channel ones. I am definitely more emotional on a whole since my son was born 9 months ago!

I don't cry, but it surely makes me miss my "baby." She's growing up way too fast and it doesn't seem like that long ago that was me in the hospital delivering her and going through all that. It's normal to be emotional over stuff like that, especially if you are generally emotional over things in general anyways. I know I am!

awww, i am the same way. its just so amazing to watch a baby being born. and i cried when i saw my son being born. its the most amazing thing ever. ive seen someone pass away before my eyes (my grandfather, whos middle name is my son's middle name) and i watched my son come into this world.

my son is 7 months old now, and i still get tears in my eyes watching those shows.

I cry with those too. I think it is such a wonderful and traumatic experience at the same time (giving birth), that is stirs up so many emotions.

I cant watch trhe Csection ones though, they make me squemish.

I do. Especially if the man cries too.
