People are petrified at the reality of an Obama victory, and for some reason think lame-o smears and suggestive questions will somehow dissuade people from voting for him

It's because so many people don't know what Obama truly stands for. Even his supporters feel there is something wrong and keep asking simple questions on Yahoo in their quest for reassurance that he is the chosen one.

Every day brings more flip flopping and confusion out of his campaign. I think after this latest gaff on no more oil drilling he is stepping into deep water...no pun intended... and is showing his alliance with the radical green groups.

What will be next.. no more mining of metals, sand and gravel. brick clay or industrial minerals?

I think no one is really all that interested in McCain. He's such a bore! Dry speaker, puts me to sleep everytime. And if you do make it through a few of his words, he doesn't sound all that bright to me. He's really dull, dry, a mood killer, and just too darn old to even be considered to be president. I don't think he could handle the daily grind, the travel, etc. A vote for McCain would be a vote for his VP, and I don't want that. The VP didn't cause all the excitement we have with Obama. It must be Obama. He is the man. Everyone wants to talk about him, good or bad, because he's never dull!

    Obama 08!!!!!!!!!!!

    Obama 08!!!!!!!

Teenager with well heeled, Republican parents. "I swear if Obama gets elected no more Prada, Gucci, BMW at graduation, start looking for a scholarship, my friend." Either that or small businessmen who didn't quite get their hands on the brass ring or they did and want to hang onto it, fearing that taxation and the possibility of a continued supply of inexpensive labor may elude them.

This forum (thankfully) is not representative of the general population. On here is about 60% McCain and 40% Obama.

In the real world its reversed.

It's complicated, but I'll give it a shot:

Because more people ask questions about Bushrack Obushma (yes, that's how you sound).

Because only the uninformed say "McSame".
