Griffon: a huge roller coaster with a 200 ft. straight down drop. Probably good for everyone 12 or older, if they are all daredevils.

Appolo's Chariot: Big roller coaster with a slanted 200 foot drop and a lot of air-time. Not too scary so I'd probably say anyone 12 or older. 10 if a big daredevil.

Alpengeist: A roller coaster that goes upside down 6 times with your feet dangling. Tallest and fastest inverted roller coaster in the world. Anyone 10 or older.

Loch Ness Monster: A roller coaster with a 113 foot drop and two loops that go through each other. Probably good for 8 and older maybe 7 if a big daredevil.

Big Bad Wolf: A suspended roller coaster which has you below the track with your car swinging on sharo turns. Not very scary with a drop of 8o feet so i's say a daredevil 4 year old could ride it if tall enough. I think you have to be like 42 inches.

Those are the roller coasters in the park. There are some water rides and kiddie rides but I'm sure EVERYONE could ride those.

There are so many rides in each of the countries for everyone's interest and fear level. Troop around together and while you are in the countries you can split off. The roller coasters are all great and offer different fear levels. The 13+ will enjoy all the rides and can ride with some of the younger ones as well! I would NOT recommend Kings Dominion, it is just a different atmosphere and is not a good representation of VA. I think if you go to Williamsburg, do both Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Have fun! Also, Williamsburg offers a lot of great shopping and historical information! Enjoy!

if the kids don't like rough roller coasters, there are still lots of great rides, here's a list of some of my favs.

    1. davincis cradle, it's a smooth ride, but it makes your stomach drop

    2. the battering ram-make sure people afraid of heights sit in the middle rows

    3. the katapult

    4. the time machine

    5. escape from pompeii

    6. log flume (make sure the kids really want to go on this one, because once they get on, they can't get off, the water all has to be drained and people will be ticked)

    7. the swings!

    8. curse of darkastle

also any of the shows are fun, i like pet shenanigans, but get there early to get good seats!

hope this helps, have a good time

It has been several years since I have been to Bush Gardens, but there are rides that everyone will enjoy. I might recommend Kings Dominion while you are in Virginia.
