What kind of movies do y'all like to watch?

I love most movies, especially superhero and Will Smith movies. But Morgan Freeman is the man. He is the only actor i would ever pick to be God (bruce almighty). he has a mentor/guide air about him. If you haven't seen ironman yet you have to. Robert Downey Jr. is the perfect actor for the part and it is one of the best movies ever. PS stay through the credits!!!

Comedies, although it's getting tougher to find funny movies that are not vulgar. I like Morgan Freeman. He's a swell actor. I also like documentaries, (yawn, I know, but I do.) I also like the old black and white movies from the 40's and 50's. I get tired of going to the movie theater to only be disappointed time and time again, by pumped up tv previews. Sometimes those clips are the only good parts of the whole movie! I like Tim Burton movies as well. I'm not into chainsaw massacres, never was. I like to be entertained, not traumatized.

The Bucket List is a great movie. My husband and I rented and watched it last weekend. Morgan Freeman is always excellent and Jack Nicholson was a real treat too.

Last night we watched the remake of Planet of the Apes. Loved it. I have a weakness for action adventure movies. Then good comedies are in 2nd place for me. The recent Indiana Jones movie that's in the theaters is very good. My husband wants to watch love story movies so I humor him on that. His all time favorite movie is Sleepless in Seattle starring Tom Hanks.

Frankly I would rather watch a bad porn movie than most of what is coming out of Hollywood. I have no use for things like "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre".

I really like Christmas time when all the made for TV movies come on. So many are spin offs of A Christmas Carol. I can sit and enjoy any of them several times during the holiday season. Even the ones made for the big screen like "Scrooged" are fun for me.

I better watch out, you will be having me wishing my life away shortly if I'm not careful.

We like well done animated, some comedy, some of the Disney movies and a rare horror thats not to gory. As far as people we do like Morgan Freeman, Whoppie Goldberg, Will Smith, the two women of Death Becomes Her,(I can't think of their names). Julia Roberts is waaaaay great.

I saw the previews to the Bucket List & it appears to be an action packed movie. I am a Morgan Freeman fan also & loved him in "Driving Miss Daisy. I like:

Romance

Comedy

Action...some, not all. (I'm love Indiana Jones & will be going to see it this coming Monday)

I like Bobby Duvall Movies, John Wayne Movies, and Gary Cooper Movies. Well, a western movie is always my favorite. Tommy Lee Jones from up there at San Saba, Texas should be added to that list, too.

I love my science fiction. Got a lot of DVDs.

So,unless I'm on here all night,I might watch a film tonight.

Also treated myself a few months ago to a t.v. series that used to be on in the 60s.

The boxed set of the prisoner,with Patrick McGoohan. Most of it has stood the test of time.

I love many, many genres. I saw the bucket list. Really good. I went to see Fool's Gold, and loved it!

I just went to see Kung Fu Panda and did not like it! My friends and I went to see 27 dresses a while back and it was ok.

I like Richard Gere movies and adore Kevin Costner, especially DRAGONFLY and MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE.

RV, Raising Helen, Pirates of the Caribbean. Love them all. We go to the movies a lot.

I love Meryl Streep. And 310 to Yuma with Russell Crowe was awesome.
