Am I Ready For The "Dragon Slayer" Quest On Runescape?

when I was in level 60 (had full rune gold on) I tried to fight elvring, at that time, I had 50 str and 30 attack and my hitpoints was higher I think, I also have swordies with me and elvrig killed me. I advise you to at least train your strenth level to at least 50 and defence to 45 to go kill him, but you can try to kill him, when your dieing, you can teleport away, but I warn you not to yet. train by fighting hill giants which can be found in a small hut (you need a brass key to get in)just east of the exit of the grand exchange.

I think you'll be alright. I did it at lvl 45 combat and it wasn't all that hard. you could use a Rune Scimitar or Battleaxe, each have benefits.

Battleaxe- slightly slower than scimitar but hits higher, (i'm lvl 85 i hit 16 with scimmy. with battle axe i hit 19-20)

scimitar- It's really fast, good against opponents with 2 handed weapons etc.
