Why would anyone want to be buried when they die?

I would like to be in a iso container with a recliner, tv and sound system.

Uuuhm I'm not sure you got the point of being buried: the point is, your DEAD!

So, what the heck should anybody care what happens to their body after they died? You won't care about the coldness, the darkness, about anything, because you're not alive anymore!

I mean, I don't want to be buried either as soon as I die, but hey, it's actually really not that big of a deal.

However, many people want to get buried because it's tradtion and I can very much understand that.

Yeah, and the thought of burning to a crisp and being stuffed in an urn is real pleasant too. It's all unpleasant! I want to be buried in a simple wooden coffin where I can decompose and be recycled into the earth.

I want to be cremated but people do whatever they are comfortable with. I beleive in reincarnation so it's just a body your not alive down there or anything. Also it so people can visit your grave. I guess

You're not going to feel uncomfortable when you're dead, you won't feel anything!! So it doesn't really matter if you're buried or creamated. It's just a matter of personal beliefs and choices.

A stone, forever shone, a hole with flesh and bone.

For memorial.

So you have a place for your loved ones to go to remember you.

It helps keep a record of your life.

I'm pretty sure dead people don't care about the darkness or being cramped.

..because they are dead and don't really care what conditions they are in.

I would prefer to be stuffed and put the corner of my decendants house so everyone will remember me, and it is more original

I would like to be mummified, to preserve my genes, maybe future generations could genetically bring me back...

So that their rotting bodies don't stink out your tea party...
