WOW

You're killing me.

Or prehaps more to the point, your AREN'T killing me.

This is advice, when it should be an attempt to rip my heart out.

Don't tell me to "Ask out loud for what I need"

Tell me to "Rage against the dying of the light"

Tell the pathetic Bo Jangles to dance.

Call Cupid a blind and sadistic bastard.

Don't "Bust the System"

"Bring the ruckus to ALL those mutha f**kers"

Make me laugh, make me cry

Make me kiss 5 bucks goodbye.

Compare to:

The thief left it there.

There in the window.

The shining moon.

OR

Nothing. Not even the rain.

Has such small hands.

OR

The graves a fine and private place

But none I think do there embrace.

OR

A savage place as holy and enchanted

As ere beneath a waning moon was haunted

By woman wailing for her demon lover.

OR

This is how I feel

I'm cold and I am shamed

Lying naked on the floor

OR

2am she calls me and I'm still awake

Can you help me unravel my latest mistake

I don 't love him. Winter just wasn't my season.

OR

The world thought I had it all

But I was waiting for you.

Hush, now I see a light in the sky...
