Right, I've had it with Firefox 3. How do I get rid of it and go back to the previous version?
Also, is there any way of getting in touch with Firefox and letting them know? They're very small niggles that I'm irritated about, but they cancel out the positive aspects of the new version, and surely they'd be easy enough to correct.

I hate it too and re-installed Firefox 2.0.0.14 here : http://filehippo.com/download_firefox/4038/
Just remember to uninstall the new version first. You should still keep all your personal settings, bookmarks etc.

i have had the same problem with version 3 and i am gutted cos i have used firefox for along time and its far better than any other browser.
when i load it with add ons etc it will not load and constantly comes up with 'not responding' so i have to restart it in 'safe mode' then gradually enable my add ons. it is then ok for the next half a dozen loads then it all starts again and its back to square one.
when it is working properly though i am pretty impressed with some of the new features.
so right, when this first happened i got really annoyed and decided to go back to the original, could i find it anywhere? no i b******y couldnt. i googled ' download firefox 2' but everything i clicked on still only gave me the option for version 3. in the end i gave up.
i must say though that before doing this i did not un install version 3 as i thought version 2 would either replace 3 or just download as a seperate program. maybe thats where i was going wrong.
anyway mate, good luck with it all. if you cant find anywhere to install version 2 then maybe try it in safe mode and go from there.

simply uninstall firefox then install firefox old version. You can get the older version here, http://install-mozilla.com/ - make sure you uinstall your firefox 3 first .

completely uninstall and dl version 2? what don't you like about it? i like it but i hate how bookmarks drop down on the navigation bar.
