how much does a wedding coordinator cost or how much did you spend?

hi, i'm a wedding planner myself. there is no one set price for wedding planners. it all depends where u live in ny, and how long they've been a planner. $1000 for the day is a steal of a price. the reasons for the planner is so for you and your family to enjoy the special day. you dont want to be having people coming to you to tell you something is wrong and you get fustrated and the day goes by soooooooo fast. or even to have a family member do so as well, is also will kill the day. the planner is to help the day go seemlessly and put out the fires without you knowing so that you can enjoy the big celebration, as well take care of all the needs you have hired them for.

and planners charge 2 ways. one is they take a percentage fee off of your budge, and another they have is a set price to the package u have chosen. if i understand you want a Wedding Day Coordination which is a package most or all have.

look around for wedding coordinators that match ur personality and vision, and your price range. if you find someone who just started in the business such as i (less then a year to 3 yrs) thier prices are usually at a very affordable price range. you can look up at your local university for those who are wedding/event managment majors. they would sure love to make sure you day go on without a hitch, and at a very affordable price.

I am a wedding planner in the UK,for what you want the (on the day co-ordination) i charge £250,also sometimes i have to add travel costs on top of that.

For big weddings(200 plus day guests) and some themed weddings i have to charge more because i have to use more employees so i have to add more to cover their wages.

Well depends on how big your wedding is going to be. If its going to be large and extravagent, then $1000 is not bad at all...but that should include EVERYTHING including the catering, decor, theme, vendors, etc etc. That is actually not a bad price. I'm sure you can find someone cheaper... but it might be better off doing it yourself with the help of your mom and sisters.

We found a place where the wedding coordinator is included. Were tipping her $250.00.

If I were you I would ask a friend who you may not have invited to the wedding and buy them a very nice gift!

I have heard that some coordinators base their price one your budget. 10% of what your wedding costs is how much the coordinator gets paid. But really it all depends on each coordinator.

wedding is the ever best thing happening in our life.so if you are not able to manage and execute everything properly this is not good for others.Better for time and health management you should keep a wedding planner with you affordable cost will make your wedding success on everyone's mind for ever
