Anyone ever CHANGED their mind (IDEOLOGY) after reading a well stated response / question on here???

just curious if anyone changes their mind - learns that what they believed was wrong

I am pretty much where I was when I started on here, however I have learned a lot about human nature - fringe - ignorance - found some pretty good humor. I've even learned quite a bit about several different religions on here.

and I have seen kindness here also -

just wondering if any believer or non-believer has read a response and forever gone down a different road???

Interesting? click on star - bottom left - thanks

I personally have never changed my mind after reading a well stated response or question on Yahoo answers

In other words anything that anybody has said has never changed my mind in the least !

I've certainly become more fixed in the idea that what beliefs I do have are right for me, but not right for anyone else. It's also reinforced my beliefs about the ideas of morality, logic, self-justification and ignorance or outright denial and that there are always two sides to the same coin. On the other hand, I'm appreciating the fact that people genuinely believe the stuff they sometimes come out with, and that's ok, however illogical I may find it at points. And in fact, I'm the ignorant one if I don't accept it. Though I still read answers that have challenged my understanding of different faiths and left me thinking of it differently. Obviously there's still quite a bit I have to learn about the faiths themselves. Regarding people on the other hand, my beliefs have become more concrete. So I haven't changed per se, but rather adapted. Toodles

Yes I have... I asked a question about taking money out of a wallet and the answers completely made me rethink what I would do. The answerers brought to light a bunch of things I had never thought of.

I think I am becoming less tolerant of others, lol, which is not a good thing
