Who is getting brainwashed ?

Isnt it funny that here we sit with all the pollution and smog and dying over oil looking for alternative fuel and energy sources.

Its kinda funny that no one talks about Hydrogen.

What is Hydrogen ?

2/3 of the world is covered in it and 2/3 of that is all Hydrogen.

Hydrogen is the most abundant element on earth,

What do you get when you burn Hydrogen ?>

"Oxygen and Purified water" no pollutants.

It has a 1/3 more energy gallon for gallon than gasoline. ?

Lets see ? you can drive around spewing out pure Oxygen -- let off no pollutants -- and make your own purified water to store and take home.

Physicists tell us we cant split the H2O1 because it will take more energy to split it than you would gain. There are technologies out there that bunk this theory . Have we been programmed. ?

Think !

The big oil are making more than $75,000.00 a second 24/7364-1/4 pure profit from oil. (and that's just one company)

Think

No one talks about it ....just solar, wind and nuc

Isn't it Funny ?

Update:

They need point of use hydrogen generators not Hydrogen (storage)

gas stations.

There are serious problems with hydrogen vehicle technology. For example:

    1) Where to get the hydrogen. Yes, most of the Earth is covered in water, but it takes a lot of energy to break the atomic bonds and seperate the water. That's why we currently get 96% of our hydrogen from fossil fuels and just 4% from water.

    2) No infrastructure. We don't have hydrogen fueling stations - no way to transport or store the hydrogen gas.

    3) Cost. Hydrogen fuel cells currently use platinum, which is extremely expensive.

Electric vehicles are a far more promising technology. See the links below for further details.

Ben is correct, hydrogen is not an energy source, it's a way to store energy. You can make it from natural gas but that actually may produce more CO2 than gasoline does and using electricity to do it isn't very efficient. If you need batteries to power the process, why not just use that to power the car instead of losing a large part of that energy by making hydrogen first?

Your statement about it's energy density vis a vis gasoline ignores the energy cost in producing the hydrogen. Metallic hydrogen has an even greater energy density but it would cost a fortune to keep your tank filled.

It may make sense to produce hydrogen along with solar power, storing energy for peak hours and nighttime/cloudy times but other than that it's not efficient enough to work. And why would you want to carry a tank of highly combustible gas in your car? Ever hear of the Hindenburg? It's considerably riskier than your gas tank is today, less efficient, requires more room and a heavier tank, there is a long list of disadvantages.

At some point when we have fusion, hydrogen will become a fuel source but until then it is impractical.

In theory, hydrogen is the perfect fuel.

Hydrogen has serious application problems that may never be overcome. For example, liquid hydrogen may have a higher energy density than gasoline, but it is currently impossible to store transportable hydrogen as a liquid in any practical way.

In reality, all current plans for hydrogen are a boondoggle to delay implementation of alternatives because if and when the practical limitations are overcome, the hydrogen will almost certainly come from hydrocarbons.

Solar and wind energy can be converted directly into electricity. Efficient long distance electric transmission is now a reality.

Electric cars have a perfect torque curve, are nearly 100% efficient at energy conversion, the motor has 1 moving part and they are clean and quiet. They should be cheaper to manufacture as well.

    What are we waiting for?

Actually a lot of people are talking about it, and there are already hydrogen cars out there. The problem is, they cost about a million dollars apiece, they don't have very good mileage per tank full of hydrogen, and it would cost billions to convert gasoline stations into hydrogen stations.

Not to mention the cost of refining hydrogen is much greater then oil.

Everyone is looking for a cost effective alternative fuel source.

"Physicists tell us we cant split the H2O1 because it will take more energy to split it than you would gain."

What are these great technologies that defy the laws of thermodynamics?

When water is split to make hydrogen and oxygen, it requires a fixed amount of energy.

In this case, to split 18.02 grams of water(1 mole), requires 917.8 kilojoules. The resultant product contains 16.00 grams of oxygen, and 2.02 grams of oxygen.

When hydrogen is burned in oxygen, the exact same reaction happens in reverse. The ONLY product is water. The energy released by burning 2.02 grams of oxygen is 917.8 Kilojoules.

If this weren't true, it would be in violation of the first law of thermodynamics(energy can not be created or destroyed).

The electricity to make hydrogen has to come from somewhere, and most of it comes from fossil fuels.

Now, according to the second law of thermodynamics, in the process of going from water to hydrogen/oxygen, some energy MUST be lost, as it's impossible to have a process which is 100% efficient.

Thus, using fossil fuels directly is much better than trying to make hydrogen.

I might also point out that if hydrogen were, hypothetically somehow free. keep in mind that the exhaust would consist entirely of water vapor. Water is a much more powerful greenhouse gas than carbon dioxide. In fact, the majority of the naturally occurring(i.e. beneficial and necessary for life) greenhouse effect is a result water vapor. So, any technology that increased the concentration of water vapor in the atmosphere would not be desirable.

Source(s): I'm not programmed or brainwashed or any other adjective you want to slap on, I just know and understand the laws of chemistry and physics. You can't create energy!

Why do you assault whatever you understand not anything approximately? Go to any church and take a ballot of all its contributors. There are 2 classes of humans: Lifers and Converts. Lifers grew up within the church whilst the Converts grew up on this planet or possibly one more faith. Approx. seventy five% of all converts were introduced from a few form of dependancy. I myself used to be an alcoholic and drug addict and Jesus introduced me INSTANTLY! I were blank for a number of years now. Furthermore, the primary time you return head to head with a truly reside demon, you're going to feel too. These aren't experiences instructed to kids to lead them to behave. There quite are monsters lurking at nighttime that desire not anything greater than to wreck you, I have noticeable them! But Jesus gave us the energy and authority to command the ones evil spirits to go away. They can not damage a believer. Did you ever wonder whether perhaps the humans who don't seem to be Christians are those which can be brainwashed? If you have been watching at a rainbow and the man or woman subsequent to you instructed you that you simply have been loopy there used to be no rainbow however they did not become aware of they have been dressed in a blindfold, might you are saying they have been the loopy one?

the owners of the big oil are running the world

    the presidents their families

they want to keep making profits not come up with ideas that will put them out of business

    isnt that funny

i have to be honest i have been on this planet for 43 years and all my life i have heard oh no we will run out of oil soon !!!!

oh no the earth is gonna die from global warming , the oceans are rising , NY will be flooded , it's all a bunch of BS !!

yes gas prices stink , but I am not changing the way i live my life

because some Idiot in washington thinks I should

    I run my central air when i want , I BBQ when i want , i drive a 17mpg SUV,

I go on vacation about 5 times a year , all because I can

call me arrogant . doesn't matter , the fact is global warming is complete BS

my guess is because no one wants to develop the technology needed for hydrogen transportation but hey i could be wrong.

Plus the Oil companies don't want to be poor.
