Has anyone seen the C.O.T. model car kits?

I want to put together a model car, and its been ages since I have done such a thing... All this technology we have, computers, Internet, 200 channels on tv, PS3... and I want to put together a model car... go figure...

I cannot seem to find a C.O.T. model car kit anywhere... Am I just looking in the wrong spots? If I am going to spend the time to put one together I want to put the new car together, not the old one...

I have checked hobby lobby, and all over the Internet and I cannot seem to find anything!

Nobody's done a COT in plastic yet. Supposedly Revell have said they won't. Nobody else has made any kind of NASCAR kit for years.

If you're an experienced modeler and don't mind spending some $$$ there are 'cottage' manufacturers now making COT bodies in resin. Check on Ebay; I've seen a Chevy and a Dodge, both for about $50. Of course you have to buy decals separately, not to mention an "old" kit for the chassis and other parts, so it ends up being an expensive project. Personally I'm hoping Revell change their minds.

Napolear has it right. Some company makes the body in resin. If you go to automotiveforums.com, the automotive art section, wip motorsports, there is a blog of someone building jrs amp car.

Their just based on different things, for example enamel paints are based on chemicals (I don't know which). To be honest I would go for acrylic paints as they can be washed off your brushes with water, whereas gloss and enamel paints require chemicals like white spirit which while useful are nasty to keep around the house.
