So who thinks D.Anderson is overrated and will fall on his face in the first week?

Still think cleveland should have let him walk so they could have got a 1st round pick for him.

Think Quinn is smarter at the QB slot then Anderson but we will see this year....

Update:

Well with Quinn it is a guess on if he would be better just dont think he would force as many balls as Anderson does.

I think he will play well , and how in the hell would you know if Quinn is a smarter QB , if he is a better QB then he will win the starting job , that is what training camp is for , can u say TRAINING CAMP.

One thing people need to understand, is college is different than the NFL. How many players have done better than great in college, gone in the first round, and then completely melted down (i.e Ryan Leaf). Quinn hasn't really played at the pro level, Anderson has. Right now, I'm going with the guy who's proven himself, which would be Anderson. I gotta really see Quinn play before I say ditch Anderson.

    Absolutely not!

But he still have to prove if he can be the long term solution at QB for the Browns.

Both are good QB's and propably next year we will see Anderson or Quinn starting in a different team

I'm gonna have to agree with you on this one, Derek Anderson is far overrated and will be torn apart this season IMO. Don't get me wrong, he had a great season last year but that's just a one time gig and a perfect example of a "sleeper" team. Though I will say I don't see how you can say Quinn is better in any way than Anderson considering that he hasn't even started a game yet.

it isn't like Anderson had 1 good game...he had 1 good season....Brady had a couple of plays here and there within Anderson's 1 good season.

I'm not here to say if Quinn is smarter or not...but to say Anderson is overrated is pushing it....he has played the best season at QB for the Browns since...they became an expansion team

I think Anderson is a decent QB. Hes top 6-8. He got a good cast of weapons if they stay healthy. Ill tell you this right now, Id take him way before Id consider Eli Manning.

i think anderson will do just fine this year. Last year he did make some key mistakes but he was a brand new starter who never had a real mentor and was told heres a team dont mess up or your out and the kid is in, He had alot of pressure thrown on him and for someone to make the pro bowl who is as inexpierienced as him is great so i say this year he knows what to expect and hell to alot better and make less mistakes

I have been watching Quinn since HS, and I am not sold. I think DA is a good player, and he will be a pro bowler again. Don't get me wrong, Quinn has potential, but he more athlete than thinker, and if his brain ever catches up to his body, he will be great, but he still has to prove himself.

To answer your question, no, I think DA will be good.

I said this same thing since the end of last year. he is a flash in the pan. he is going to have to produce more this year than last, for the Browns to make the playoffs. They should have traded him to get some help on defense.

    i TOTALY AGREEEEE

he is waay too overrated...i dont think it'll be week one though, prolly anywhere from weeks 6-10, or untill there playoff hopes are over and have nothing to lose.
