Philosophy topics?

Anything that has no definable answer typically makes for a great discussion.

Some ideas:

-Is abortion right?

-Is life a function of free will or fate?

-Does God exist? (Hefty topic. I lead a discussion on this for a project and, oh man, was it something)

-What is a person? (May sound simple, but give it some thought. Consider the idea of a soul or what a mind is. )

-Is capital punishment just?

-Should censorship be enforced?

-What is intelligence?

Perhaps discuss one philosopher's beliefs which countered another's... back in the day they were always debating with eachother

Discuss life and living. I suggest the berserker theory (my own theory), but you can use all the different philosophies of how the world and life works. Very broad subject that will be very easy for you to do because you can subjugate it very well and break it down alot so it is very professional

Does free will exist? (If so, what is its nature?)

Does God exist?

Can we know anything?

What is the nature of the mind (i.e. is it physical? Non-physical, but interactive? non-physical, and non-interactive?)

What does the question "What is the meaning of life?" mean? (N.B. Not "What is the answer?")
