How can I save a YouTube video onto my computer?

If you're using Firefox, use the Video Download helper extension. Works perfectly.

There are many ways to do that.

1.Get the latest edition of RealPlayer, it has a "Download this Video" icon-bar that enables you to download a streaming video to a folder in your My Documents. After you installed RealPlayer. All you need to do is get on YouTube, find the video you want to download, and click the "Download this Video" icon on the top-right corner of the video it takes about a minute.

2. Download "Any Video Converter," a freeware from download.com, it also has a feature that enables downloading YouTube videos.

Download a program called DVD Video Soft. This

Use Firefox,and then get the add-on "downloadhelper".

Click Tools, Add-ons,and if you don't see it,just click the browse for add-ons.

After installing,close out your browser,restart,and you will see a animated balloon beside the address bar.

Surf to You tube,and while you are watching a movie,click on the balloon,and it will download that video to your computer.

You will need the VideoLan Player to play the files,which are FLV files.

Try File2HD.com. Type in the URL of the vid you want, select Video, agree to the Terms and Conditions, then click GO. It'll give you links to the files, right-click on those and save them. Only one will work though.

On you tube, go to the video you want to download. Once you have it pulled up, in the address bar, right after the 'www.' type in the word 'kiss' and you will be able to download it.
