Talk with realtors that are selling condos in your price range. They can tell you what buyers in your area get excited about and what they overlook. A wise move could be to make sure the room is extremely clean and bright then be ready to make financial provisions for changing the appliances or whatever when they close on the condo. They get what they want and you don't spend money needlessly.

ok. this is a dilemma withmany folks this days. first thing is the cabinets r they in good condition??? if not a coat of paint will do the job. sand them n paint them. i will go for a dark chocolate color to make them look very rich n expensive. choose semi gloss paint. ampliances. u may want to get some stainless steal. but nothing star energy efficient or expensive. simple n stainless will do the job. as in for the counter, cheapest option out there is formica which is most likely wat u may have now. but better than that will be tile. a light granite tile will make great counters n u could use the frmame of the 1 u have now to lay the new coiunter. flooring. a prety vynil will do. make sure its the closest to lookin like tile.! n for the wall color keep it nice n beige. with this changes u will be sellin with amny offers. updtae me on how it goes. hope i helped n good luck!

  • i know that granite counter tops were in for a while, but they are out now!!! the new thing that people like to see is green product such as Paperstone, or bamboo. Paperstone is all natural, renewable, and best of all about the same if not less than granite. in a few year's time i see this product completely replacing laminates. products such as Plyboo (bamboo) can be used for cabinets, floors, countertops... you name it.

other trends such as colors, i'm not sure about b/c it all depends on what the buyer likes. for now i would say keep it simple, they will do what they want with the space.
