how to get the plastic protective screen off a TV?

We have a large RCA TV that has the plastic protective screen . We'll a bug decided to get inbetween the screen and the tv. How do I remove it?

    Most of the old RCA screens are velcro'ed on. If it isn't then it will not be very easy to do and more importantly you have to be very carefull not to touch the inner screens with your fingers (white gloves?) because you'll leave oil on them that will not come off--call a technician
