In a matter of minutes, the Rays will be the best team in baseball. How many of you predicted that?

I certainly didn't predict that. In fact, I didn't even think the Rays could compete at this level. Regardless of how long they remain as the best team in baseball, the fact that they did it at this point of the season, is astonishing to me. Keep it up Rays!!!

I DID! have you seen there farm teams, and all the first round picks its no wounder why this team is so good and i think they ll stay good with david ortiz out i think they could take the division this year

Absolutely none of us is the honest (and probably correct) answer. Earlier in the year, I was saying they might be a contender in about two years. I was wrong -- they're a contender right now.
