If Christianity isn't a religion (it's a relationship)?

Why are there all these Christians in the R&S section?

Because some of us are able to understand the definition of the word religion and realize that Christianity is indeed a religion?

Of course Christianity is a religion, in that it seeks a transformation of the individual believer and, by extension, a transformation of the world. However, it is a religion based on a relational ontology as opposed the a substantive ontology, as does so-called "scientific naturalism," which modern cosmology and quantum physics is increasingly discovering has very little to do with actual science.

It's really very hard to reconcile classical scientific naturalism with the solution of Einstein's field equations that show a beginning where t=0 and a singularity that allows for no volume of matter. In other words, the solution of the equations that prove general relativity are consistent with creation ex nihilo.

I assume that Christians like to distinguish themselves from religion because religion includes Islam .

We're here to spread the love and grace of Jesus Christ amongst the poor, nearsighted people that have yet to find peace, love and tolerance for others in the world.

We know that Jesus loves us all....yes, even you. You don't have to admit that you love Him, but He loves you anyway.

You can't escape His love or His embrace, but when you finally open your eyes, you will remember this day and weep to beg His forgiveness and weep to accept the Holy Spirit in your heart. They will be tears of joy, weeping of joy and repentence.

Don't fight so hard, it's just a matter of time. Those who resist the hardest will one day become the greatest prophets.

    Read Luke 22

  • Could be argued that your relationship with God is separate from your adherance to dogma and tradition.

But no Christian is going to argue that.

Or they'll just shove Bible verses down your throat without reading them.
