Charting help - can I trust this temperature?
I normally temp at 6 a.m. I woke at 4:30 from a bad dream and needing to pee and realized I wouldn't have 3 more hours of sleep before 6 a.m. so I temped at 4:30. I was out of bed about a minute and a half to pee and close the window. I went back to bed until 6 and decided to temp again just to see what it was. It went up .4 degrees! Can I trust that 6 a.m. reading?

Probably not. I've had this happen before, and what I did was mark both down and then take whichever one is closest to the temp tomorrow (so if the 6am one is in line with your other temps, then that one probably isn't too far off...if it's way higher than your other temps, go with the 4:30 one). What you don't want to do, is confuse this morning temp for ovulation. So if it's that much higher, do the 4:30 one.
My bet is that the 4:30 one is going to be more accurate, even if it is slightly lower than your other temps (which you would expect if it was taken 1-1/2 hours sooner).
Good luck!!!

I would go with it. I wake up in the middle of the night all the time and I still temp the same time everyday and my chart looks normal. you cant trust the 4:30am temp either because its an hour and a half off the other ones and your temp rises as time passes. so I would definitely say to use the 6am temp. http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/166f1e here is my chart...looks normal to me.
