Why is my 4 year old son constantly going pee?

He is going like every half hour. He isnt even drinking anything. The last time he had anything to drink was some iced tea about two hours ago. Im starting to get worried. What could be wrong with him?

ice tea is a diaretic. it will make him pee. any extra water he may be holding, he's gonna pee it out.

    There could be several reasons...

    1) Fear that if he doesn't he will pee in his pants and get into trouble.

    2) Fascination with body parts. Going to the bathroom is a great excuse for being able to bring it out in the open.

    3) Bladder infection. Is he nauseated at all?

My daughter seems to go a lot when she's growing too. She tends to eat more and even through it isn't all in liquid form, it can end up that way.

If he's not showing signs of illness, I wouldn't worry too much. Just be on the look out for obvious signs-- upset tummy, fever-- that may indicators that it's something more.

This is one of many signs of type 1 Diabetes. Without being alarmed, be on the lookout for other symptoms. If you have a glucose test kit, try testing him to see if he's in normal range (80 - 120).

That's a warning sign of diabetes. Take him to the doctor and have a complete workup done as soon as possible. Make a journal of all of his symptoms, as well as what he eats and drinks between now and the appointment.

I wouldn't worry about it because there is nothing you can do..... He is most likely going to die.
