Top Flight D2s?

Anyone use them? What do you think of them? Which did you choose, straight, distance or feel and why?

Just bought some feel and was wondering what other people thought.

Let me know, thanks.

Update:

Andrew -- "Rock Flight" is the old label. Ever since Callaway bought top flight they new balls are certainly not as hard as they used to be. I mean if you stillg et the Top Flight XLs they are hard, but after that, the new D2s, the Gamers and the Freaks are way softer.

I am not sure if anyone would trully rate them as high as the ProV1s, but then again, I am not spending $40 for 12 balls, that I still loose a bunch during a round. Although I am glad that someone had a good experience with them.

I use the Top Flite D2 feel - it's a fantastic ball. I chose it over the Distance because it performs better around the green but only sacrifices about 8 yards driving. I'll take the extra control in the short game. The straight does not allow you to work the ball at all, which sucks if you are trying to hit a controlled shot.

I think that these balls are comparable to ProV1 - although most will disagree with me. I played a few rounds with a friend about a month ago - I played D2 feel, he played ProV1's. He's actually a bit better golfer than I am to begin with because he is a better putter, but from tee to green I was just as good if not a bit better. Basically, when it comes down to it, these balls are great - you only pay around $1 per ball vs. the $4 per ball you pay for the more expensive balls - and they perform just as well. I think you will like them.

i also really like the D2 Feels. Great soft controllable ball AND its a great price. I've also heard great things about the TF Gamers, but they are a lil more expensive. Like mentioned earlier, i got the feels cuz i don't like those straight no spin balls.

i want to make a good swing and know if i didn't. you'll like them give em a try.

Top Flight makes the hardest ball in golf (next to Precept Lady). There should be absolutely no feel, but you do get more distance on clean hits (only).

Putting is usually like a rock, but that is my experience.

I was given a free sleeve , honestly to me they felt terrible , they had no feel and they did not check up on the green , I gave them away, I think they are good for a beginner , I think that is who they are marketed to anyway a High Handicapper .

    Good Luck .

    C,mon Kitchens comparable to a PROV1X , your kidding right ???
