Should ADRs be close to parity with their stocks in their home trading company?

assuming the $/British pound is 2

If a stock is trading in London at 2.5 should its ADR be trading at $5?

    Maybe. You need to know what the ADR is. Many ADRs are not simply 1 share = 1 ADR.
