I have had hard boiled eggs for a week and they have been fine. I would suggest, as with all perishables like milk, meat, and eggs, to place them at the coolest area of the fridge which is the bottom shelf towards the back. (Just make sure that the setting that you have your fridge on doesn't freeze items placed at the back...on any shelf.) If you have an older fridge that has the egg shelf on the door, DO NOT store eggs there...if you have noticed, appliance companies have stopped making this due to the door not being cold enough to safely store eggs. And another thing, once you cook the eggs, DON'T ever place them back in the original containers...they are contaminated and therefore should never be reused. I hope this helps. And here's something else, newer eggs are harder to peel, so boil eggs that are at least a week old (from the time of purchase!). And last but not least, if you like deviled eggs but don't have the time, make a simple egg salad and add a little DRY mustard seasoning....it tastes great.

I don't know about any of the other responses or whether or not it is right to leave them in there for more than 3 days, but I think they can go longer. I will boil 1-2 dozen at a time and put them back in the containers and put them in the fridge. I have had eggs in the fridge for more than 10 days. Open them up and they do not smell and taste fine. My dad will hard boil them, peel and put them in a ziploc bag. And I know he has had them in there for at least a week.

A hard boiled egg will last about a week and a half. It's best if eaten in 4 days of cooking it. If it turns soft, the color starts to change, or spots form it has gone bad. But, that's not always an indicator.

u need an experiment. Keep several boiled eggs in the fridge at the same time, and open one each day after that.

Per experience, I was able to keep a hardboiled egg for about a month without it spoiling but i don't know exactly how long the maximum time for storage is. You see, I only cook once a week as i'm on a really tight schedule and I sort of forgot about it. :) I usually differentiate between cooked and uncooked eggs by spinning them. Uncooked eggs tend to wobble a lot because of the liquid interior. i don't know though if that was the answer you were looking for. :( hope to have been of help. :)

I don't usually keep anything in the refrigerator for more than 3 days except for condiments like mustard, ketchup, salad dressing, etc., so I would say 3 days for a boiled egg.

I'll bet you don't know how to tell the difference between a raw egg and a boiled egg................

Ok, you talked me into it, I'll tell you.

When you spin around a raw egg on the counter, the yolk inside is loose and it does not spin much and wobbles to a quick stop. The boiled egg - being solid - will spin like a top.

If you pickle them, for a very long time at room temperature.

Yes, people pickle hard boiled eggs.

Plain, I would say about a week, maybe a week and a half.
