Do you think 700.00 will cover these costs?

I rented out my mobile home to a so-called friend. She left the place with tons of garbage laying around plus a bed that her son had puked all over in. Kerosene from a heater leaked on to the kitchen floor plus water damage from the washing machine she never told us about. She told me to keep the 700 deposit. We pay renters insurance but i'm not sure if they will cover the cost of damage due to her lack of non caring. Tiles from the kitchen have to be replaced and rugs have to be pulled up too. Do you think insurance will cover the costs?

go out and get an estimate and see how much its going to cost you to replace everything... deduct the 700 from that and charge her the remaining balance if it comes over 700( which I think its going to cost more )

here is an example about a water heater leaking...

    Tenants (Renters) Insurance

Damage to the building (and anything permanently attached to the building, including wall to wall carpeting) is the responsibility of the building owner, and his Building Insurance coverage HOWEVER any damage caused by the Tenant or damage caused by the Tenant's negligence - would be covered under the "Tenants Legal Liability" coverage - of the "Tenant's Package" policy carried by the Renter.( so unless shes had renters insurance... you can nail her) and if she did , go after her insurance

$700 would not be enough to cover the repair whenever a flooring need to be replaced. Call your insurance agent asap to discuss whether any item is under coverage. Check the affected area from the water damage, make sure there's no mold growing. The insurance company may not want to compensate if mold is found. You might have to go after your so-called friend for the remaining balance. Be prepared to take her to court if necessary.

I don't understand you complaint. The car is clearly OUT of Warranty. The ignition switch is not part of the emission system regardless of the twisted logic you used to believe that it is. Your problem isn't with the warranty it's with the Dodge service department and their outrageous prices. Take your car to an independent certified mechanic and have it fixed for a fraction of the price the Dodge dealer quoted you. I have a 96 Intrepid and I needed a windshield wiper arm. I went to 3 different parts stores to buy one and nobody had one but Autozone offered to order one at a cost of $22.00. I decided to check with the local Dodge dealer first before placing a special order, just in case it was something I could buy today and be done with it. I called the Part Department of the local Dodge dealer, they didn't have the part either but they could order me one at a price of $132.00 !!! ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY TWO DOLLARS for a wiper arm. When I could buy the exact same part across the street for $22.00 Moral of the story, Stay out of the Dodge Service and Parts Departments unless you are covered under warranty. Any out of warranty repairs should be handled by an independent certified mechanic. They do as good or better work for much less money.

Maybe, if you do all the work yourself. Depends on the amount of damage to the floors.

If you make a claim and your insurance covers it, your rates will go up. You will pay for it one way or another.
