Would you take your 2 year old to an Ann Summers Party?
Somebody I know is having an Ann Summers party on Saturday. I can't get a babysitter so I can't make it. When I told her this she said to me to bring my son as her son (also 2) will be there!
She text me today to see if I had any joy with a babysitter and I text back saying that I still didn't have one and really I don't want to bring my son. She hasn't replied!
Am I being too over protective, or am I right in thinking that an Ann Summers party really isn't the place for 2 year olds?
Nicola, I'm not worried about missing a party, I'm a mum and I know where my priorities, but thanks for judging me. I am asking if others think the same as me!

No, there's no way i'd take my two year old to an Ann Summers party. They can get really loud (and raunchy!) not the place for any child of any age, and i think your friend is wrong for allowing her child to attend, she should have more sense! She doesnt sound the understanding type either if she is ignoring you, sorry to say but she's being selfish and needs to put the kids before her party.

No I would never take a child to an Ann Summers party no matter how old they were, & I think your friend should get someone to look after her 2 year old till it is over,

I had a friend who brought her son to an Ann summers party and it really dampened it as her son was grabbing for things and constantly trying to get a hold of stuff.
It's just not suitable for children.

Is her son going to be in bed sleeping? If so then I dont think it would be a problem for your son to join him. Maybe drive round the block a bit to get him to sleep before you get there and pop him straight into bed.
I really don't think it would be appropriate however to have 2 children running about during the party. It's an adult thing and you and the other guests wont really be able to enjoy yourselves with kids there.
I don't think the other girls would thank you for bringing a kid along unless he's upstairs in bed asleep.

It is not a place for children, never mind a two year old. If you dont have a babysitter dont go.
Have a think about your priorities. Im sure there will be other parties.

Try the 'A-List' Series. I've heard it's good. As well as Twilight. Criss Cross is a good book (except for the ending) and To Kill a Mockingbird is really good too! The Wedding Planner's Daughter and the rest in that series are good short books if you want a quick read!

No way. My daughter is 2 years old and I would never dream of taking her. If I could not get a babysitter then I would not go

No don't take your son to an Ann Summers Party, they are for adults, not children. Tell your friend not to take her son neither.
