Do you think the media has an agenda and is pushing interracial coupling to far?

I honestly believe they are. They do it even though some people of all colors, consider it offensive. The media always has an agenda. Just as they push all this "green" living stuff on us, they push IR upon us as well. They try to control our thoughts and lives. I find it unacceptable.

I agree with you. There are definitely more and more depictions of interracial couples on TV. Now, don't get me wrong, I have nothing against interracial couples. But I do have an issue with the media depicting couples as only white & black. If the media wants to portray openess and racial tolerance they should depict interracial couples of all races. Why not show chinese-white couples? Or Mexican-white couples?

I am not sure if the media has any agenda behind their portrayal of interracial couples as being only white-black, but I do think they are trying to make the American audience believe that white-black interracial couples are common place. They are trying to do the same thing they already do on TV; paint a picture that everyone has a "black friend". I personally don't have any black friends and don't know any black people.

What ticks me off about the media is that the only minority group they promote is blacks (I know blacks watch more TV than any other ethnic group, this may be why). Where are the hispanics? Chinese? Indians? etc. If the media wants to show fairness they should spend a little more time promoting other ethnic groups, not just blacks .

Yes. If the herd is of all one hue and has no definable culture then how much easier is it to control. Fortunately their are intelligent people that follow their higher instincts and do not fall for this. Ideas and culture define a person more than their skin color but giving into miscegenation is giving into the manipulative social engineering that has been happening for 30 years. IR pairing is but one aspect of this cultural destruction. I see the mindless pursuit of useless material possessions and constant entertainment to be far more detrimental. But like I said, we are assaulted on all fronts. The useful human beings will have none of any of it. It is laughable to see that quintessential IR couple in a vehicle you know they can't afford with spinning rims, blaring the soundtrack for the mindless. Write'em off as useless to humanity because they drank the kool-aid of destruction.

Maybe the media is just trying to show the world the way it is. Clearly if you have more black and white in a country than any other race, then you will get more of those people paring together. I have a list of about 5 qualities that I expect in a man. None of which have anything to do with skin color. I just want an honest man who loves me and who I love back. You people need to get your head out of the gutter. You have just been brainwash to assume your skin is better than black.

Hollywood has always been, big bleeding hearts, and they think if they keep showing interracial relationships to teens and other weak minded individuals then they will be more inclined to except it, like its the norm. I am not prejudiced but I don't like being force fed ideas or health care. ( had to take the shot)

I believe that the goverment is directly involved in the pushing of interracial couples of blacks & whites. I am white married to asian but I never see anything on tv like us. Just a steady stream of black with white. Even my black friends are saying the same thing. Something is wrong with how they are showing interracial unions as only those of 2 races. I am a poor man but when I go to speak with someone at the welfare office all the white girls have mixed black babies but no daddy's are there! I find this to be normal in every state I have traveled or lived in.Single white moms with black mixed kids & no husband,no job,no education beyond high school! Research shows that white genetics is the healthiest followed by Asians with the least amount of physical & mental disorders with black genetics as the worst. It surprises me that people don't research this subject more since it speaks for its self. Is it good for whites to mix with blacks? Only if you don't care that your children,grand children & their great,great grand children will have a greater chance at heart disease,blood disorders,diabetes,Heart disorders,cancers,bone marrow disorders & many many more problems all because of a mixing with black. It is a fact that white Europeans have a chance to even be immune to aids since our blood is so strong & aids which is the single biggest threat to all mankind came from Africa. Its best to be smart, do your research & use your brain not your penis or heart when choosing a partner.

I believe they push the issue because controversy sells! I do not believe in mixing the races. If God meant for us to be mixing we would have been all one color to start! When we mix we dilute our races and open ourselves up to becoming in danger of contracting diseases other races carry and have a unique disposition for. We should keep the races clean! I have no problems with other races, I just believe we should not mix!

Once your only sense of identification is American and your metnal health is ****. You work and die for me only. We need the people to produce more than the Chinese but cost less. We're gonna get you to believe that mixed race people are superior, more beautiful, and more healthier than a single race person (to feed your insecure egos).

Race is one of the most misunderstood biological concepts in America, thanks to our political terrorisim, such as calling anyone who has a question regarding race is automatically a racist. Americans live in a world of selfishness; they don't even consider the child's life. They are going to live with the mixed-identity, not you.

No, people moved toward interracial dating and marriage as a result of integration and more cordial relationships between the races...the media just reflects that...in days gone by, people would have complained about a commercial with an interracial couple but don't now due to it being accepted more...even in the South black and white are together and it is common...

It is undeniably evident while watching television and just observing everything. I think all races resent it. I think that we are all unique and should be proud of our race. I think the bottom line is all about money, making it and avoiding lawsuits. I also think that race is more than just skin color. It s habits, traditions, culture, mind set. I think people are being fed a lot of falsehoods, myths, lies,etc.
