Can you use regular shampoo for a wig?

Yes just regular shampoo is fine.

My mom wore a wig before and she just used her normal shampoo.

Since its synthetic you can use regular shampoo but DO NOT use conditioner!!!

Yes. You can also use regular conditioner, but make sure to rinse thoroughly. The conditioner makes it easy to comb out the wig once it dries. Wigs should be washed by hand in warm water, thoroughly rinsed and hung up to air dry. Do not twist or wring wigs. You can remove excess water by rolling the wig in a clean towel and pressing down on it a little. Do not put wigs in the washing machine or the dryer. Make sure the wig is completely dry before combing, styling or wearing it.
