No - please visit this website. The over the shoulder baby holder is the best thing ever. They even give you a CD to show how easy it is to use. Really, the commercial brands they throw out there all the time are not as good and you want to be sure to never drop baby because you are using a sling improperly or using a sling that is not very safe. There's lots of great tips and advice here too. I loved mine for keeping baby close by while working when I had my at home job. Trust me - they are not all the same. Just because some company gets a contract with Toys R Us or some other big retailer - doesn't mean it's a truly quality product that is safe. This is very much true when it comes to baby toys too - it's important for a parent to think and research before making a purchase and not just rely on packaging labels for age appropriateness or safety. My 3 year old can pull a battery out of alot of different toys - I really rely on my instincts and tips from other moms that have worked for them and the Over the Shoulder baby holder is a highly recommended one that I've used that I heard about from another mom. This sling positions you correctly to reduce strain and effort on your part and my babies enjoyed it very much - especially while young as it feels like being swaddled.

I got it and after about 3 tries I gave up - it constricts the baby so much that she was lying with her head really pushed forward - you can even see what i mean when you look at the pic on the site. While she would only lie in it when sleeping anyway, I still felt bad that her head was in that position. Maybe others would have more luck than me - In the end I bought a tomy freestyle carrier instead which worked better for me.

Never, I mean NEVER Use one of those cursed things, and yes I have an experience, but not a very good one if your wondering. My friend, let's call her May, is interested about calling spirits, well in her basement where she has a den like place she tried with several of friends when I was upstairs making popcorn for a scary movie marathon type of thing we were going to have. I heard a scream and ran down stairs to see May, unconscious. She was in a coma for 3 months after that and now has a mental disorder because of what happened. We tried asking her friends that were down there, but when we asked them, they got a horrified look on their face and tried to run away from me, or anyone who was asking them. So basically like a horror movie experience, but hey, it's en experience.

I prefer wrap style carriers, because they do more positions, and distribute the weight evenly. Wearing a sling makes my back and shoulders hurt after just a little while. I can comfortably wear a wrap for hours!

    Yes, and we loved it!

I was happy to have my baby right there and she was happy too!

As she got bigger, and always wanted me to pick her up, this made it sooooo much easier!

That and she could be sitting on my hip while I still had use of both of my hands.

I highly recommend a sling like this! :-D

We bought it and returned it the same day. I hated it. Very uncomfortable for me and a baby. Because baby's head is heavier than his feet baby always was ending up to be in head down position . There is much better one called maya wrap. Works wonders.
