Is it true....the people who show up often on your profile from your network on Facebook view your page often?

I head a rumor from a friend of mine (not sure if it is true or not) that the six people who show up from your main network on the left panel of your Facebook profile are either A) people whose profiles YOU have visited recently or frequently or b) people who either recently or frequently visit your profile. At first I thought this claim had to be false, however; if you refresh your page like 10-20 times, often the same few people will show up (or people that you have viewed recently). I mean what is the probability that the same six or handful of people show up constantly on your page even after refreshing several several times? What do you think?
