Problem signing in to eBay?

Question

We changed our eBay password to prevent a family member with a "shopping problem" from using our account.    We changed our password successfully, but when we attempted to log in again, we were simply brought back to the sign-in screen.  Thinking that we'd entered our password incorrectly, our only option seemed to be to click on the "Forgot password?" button.  We filled out the appropriate information to verify our identity and were emailed a link which sent us to the page where (we thought) we'd be able to change our password.  Instead, we were presented with a sign-in page titled "Sign in to change your password".  Underneath, it says "Please sign in to make changes to your account" and prompted to enter our user-name and password.  

If we've forgotten our password and clicked the appropriate email link, why would it prompt us to sign-in using the (forgotten) password?  

And a follow-up question:  What happened to eBay?  It's so screwed up now in so many ways rendering it unusable

I just checked out their system - they send you a link that first asks you again for your User ID (heading: Change your password?).  Once you supply that, it asks only for the new password and for you to re-enter the new password (heading: Change Your Password).  Once you enter that, you're back in.  

I'm not sure where you went off the rails, or why, but you obviously aren't getting to the right place.  Make sure you're following the directions properly and try it again.  If you're still having trouble, try contacting eBay directly to have the account fixed or removed so you can create a new one.

Took me 22 hrs to get on the cyber web then grew to become into on for one hour the the bloody element went of for yet another 3 hours, on gentle hooks on the mo in case it is going of back. playstation  tried Ebay and have been given on ok
