I'm an Indians fan. I will treat him with great respect if he ever returns to the Jake. The Indians were never really serious about signing him. He wanted 6 years. They offered 4. If they would've offered, say 5 years 100 mill instead of 4 years 72 mill, I would've said they tried to keep him. They intentionally lowballed him. It is a testament to how penny pinching this organization is.

I'm some what of an Indians fan. If/when C.C. goes back to Cleavland he will get a Jim Edmond's response. Edmond's got cheered his first at bat for like 30 seconds before he took his at bat. Then once he settles into the game, the boos will start to come. So if/when C.C. takes the field at Cleveland he will get a standing ovation, but once the game starts, its all business.
And I could see the Indians making the playoff''s next season.

I think C.C. would get a warm reception from the Cleveland fans like Jim Edmonds did when he went back to St Louis while playing for the Cubs a week or so ago

I dunno, I'm not sure that he will get an Omar Vizquel-type standing O, but I don't think he will get heavily booed either.
