You should be able to. I've cashed checks before signed by another and myself. In the future have the other party sign, then above their signature print "Pay to the order of (YOUR NAME)".

You can deposit any check into your checking account. Just write on the back "for deposit only" to account number 111122333. Do not sign the child's name on the back. The bank will undoubtedly hold the funds until the check clears, but then the money will be there in your account. You can then withdraw the money and put it in the piggy bank.

yes, most banks will cash it as long as both sign the back, even if only one is present...... but it would probably be best if you wait to sign the check in front of the teller and make sure you have two forms of ID..... good luck.........

If it's made out to Mr. Harold Smith and Jane Doe you must both sign it.

If it's made out to Mr. Harold Smith or Jane Doe, only one has to sign it.

Since he already signed it, you should be fine once you sign it.

If you sign it, they should let you. As long as your name is on the check.

    Cash it in now

I think if they already endorsed it then yes. You might have to be on the same account though. Don't ever do that again!!
