What usually draws a married man to a single woman?

lack of RESPONSIBILITY, there's nothing there that reminds them of home no bills, kids, stress, or worries its like being single again if for just a little while, thats why you'll notice men tend to lean towards the younger single women who have as much on their plates as they do so they wont feel tied down and nagged becasue she's out doing her own thing too and I believe its a little bit of all of those things you mentioned but it really depends on the man and his situation, I dont beleive the affair starts out as an emotional connection but the exact opposite which makes it easier for him to exit the situation if things get sticky but sometimes the connection can form...this is what I came up with!!! I have friends that are single/divorced women. What I do not do is leave the room to talk to them (unless my wife has the stereo turned up), or cut the conversation short of she walks into the room (except when I was planning her surprise birthday part last year). I see nothing wrong with my having female friends, or my wife having male friends. But we don't hide anything about those friendships from one another. Not sure the same can be said for the way your husband is acting towards these friendships.

Gee I think you just listed almost all of the reasons this could happen. I know that one reason men or women have affairs is because the marital relationship is extremely busy and complex. Many times people do not do the necessary upkeep on their marriages and just don't make time for each other. It's much easier just to slip out for a lunch rendezvous with someone else than negotiate time together, where to go, calling a babysitter etc.

For a man to cheat it is usually physical attraction, and for a woman it is usually an unfulfilled emotional need, according to statistics. Either way, it is a lack of commitment to the marriage. It indicates a lack of self control, and moral character.

Usually people cheat because there is something they're just not getting out of their relationship, and the other partner is too stubborn to compromise.

it could be ALOT of reasons. i think the main ones are: he needs an ego boost, because he is bored (which both falls under he is a jerk lol) or because the woman is chasing him and he finally gives in! i think the main one would prolly be the ego boost. and YES he is automatically a jerk if he cheats why the hell is he married if he is gonna do that, and i do think that he is too weak to resist the sex (o and this goes the other way around to for women)

This is a golden oldie. I think "all of the above" applies to your answer. Men have always liked/needed to sow their seed. In ancient times, monogamy wasnt really in a man's genes. Women need it for raising their family etc. Traditionally men didnt have get involved in child rearing. They were usually hunting gathering and shagging.

I think this is why married women must make so much of an effort to keep their men by their side. This is very difficult to do when the wife is raising kids though. Most men are dumped to the bottom of the priority pile when kids come along. They have to becuase the child comes first.

its catch 22 I think. Men will always have wandering eyes but you can guarantee its all about sex.

In the majority of marriages where one spouse cheats there are always tales of marital problems for quite some time. Loss of passion and respect for each other mostly. This gives the illusion that the love in the marriage has died.

Guys are idiots & think with their *%^*(. Also there are a bunch of ho's out there trying to act like guys & sleep with everybody & so guys are just getting lucky !!
