Does ESPN have a "cover jinx," as illustrated by the Rays four game slide?

I loved that cute little team. Now they're finally stepping up and giving Boston some trouble. This 4 game slide has allowed the Sox to gain back 3.5 of the games that they quickly lost last week. Hopefully Boston can sweep the Orioles while the Indians finish up a Tampa sweet. Now that would be sweet.

I love how everybody is rushing to dump on the Rays. A young team will have bumps in the road during the season. So will a veteran team. The Yankees and Sox haven't struggled once this season ??? Really ????

Just a coinicidence. Rays are in a slump but the way some of their fans were acting, they had division & World series wrapped up already
