It's hard to reconcile God's love and God's wrath. The space captain is doing his best to give you a wake-up call. Jesus did indeed speak words of love, but He also laid it on the line when He told people what they needed to hear, not just what they wanted. The result? Jesus was crucified--murdered--because He told people the truth.

Your responses are the hate-filled responses. Why couldn't you just say "thank you" or at least read the New Testament for yourselves to investigate?

So, Captain, you are in very good company. Jesus said that those who follow Him would be hated because they follow Him. Just keep on sowing the seed, even if some falls by the wayside or gets choked out. Let God handle it. Some may be persuaded to read, heed, and even believe the Gospel.

The funny thing is your Bible says that your God's love is unconditional. Well then that must be a lie, because if you only receive it if you follow him, then it is not conditional. There is a condition.

You say your God is perfect, yet He hates, as you have stated above. A perfect person would be above hate.

Either what I have said here is true or you have misrepresented Him, or you are an example of one that claims to be a follower, but does not follow his teachings.

You are not "telling the truth"--you are relaying what you have been told is the truth, without ever once questioning whether or not it was right.

if you follow god then you also know that the bible says somethin about not hating, and how god doesn't hate anyone.

If he dislikes anyone I would think it would be people like you who are full of hate and turn non believers off to a superior being.

Because I don't believe in God, therefore the only one that can be expressing hatred is you. I'm sure Jesus is proud of you for conveying God's hatred so eagerly, though.

Because if you're Christian and you're putting words in God's mouth--I shutter to think what that vindictive deity--the same one who turned Sodom and Gomorrah into pillars of salt--might do to punish your impudence with.

We get mad at those who say such hateful things because they have nothing to support their claim that god said it, as they have nothing to support their belief in god. Thus, when you say it, it is clear that you are only using god as an excuse to spew your own hateful bile. You comfort yourself by pretending it is true and it comes from god, so as to pretend that it isn't your fault that you say horrible things to people.

If you actually believe what you just said my heart goes out to you. You are a troubled spirit. I assume that you are very young. I hope you are anyway. Wisdom comes with age.

Your whole argument fails on the last sentence, you're not telling anybody THE truth, you're telling them 2,000 year old, out-of-date wrongly assumed truth.
