Bangkok would be better if you turn around!!

I'd have to agree- Bangkok wins... no contest. For me, it's foreign and alien, yet familiar and comfortable at the same time. The many wats with their golden spires pointing heavenward... the sights and smells in Chinatown... a short cruise down the river will tell you in an instant that you're not in Kansas anymore, Toto.

Yet in the very same city, we can visit some of the best modern shopping malls in the world... be pampered at the most luxurious spas ever imagined... eat at top-notch restaurants and enjoy some of the world's best nightlife.

If you're looking for sanook (fun), it's hard to beat Bangkok.

For once the polls got it right, there is no city like Bangkok!

For me...Cape Town, South Africa...the most picturesque city in the world.

What about the traffic jams & air pollution....

Tat Phanom should make the list next year if they get a Big C or Carrefour.
