Would Al Gore accept the VP spot in an Obama administration?
He could accept the portfolio of Energy / Global Warming czar in a quite different way than how Cheney met with oil executives early in the Bush Administration (2001 - Jan. 20, 2009) . . .
a reporter for NPR mentioned this VP possibility on Morning Edition today (Mara L., I think)

I don't think so. Gore has already been the VP, but right now he has a lot of influence just as a regular civilian. I think being VP would just limit what he can do. I do think it's likely he'll end up in some sort of important position if Obama wins, but not VP.

I don't think he can, can he? He has already spent 2 terms as the Vice President, I didn't think he can do that again. I thought it was like the president can only be in for 2 terms. I know there was talk if Hillary Clinton got in would she have had Bill as the Vice President, but there is some sort of rule that states the former President can't become a VP.

No, after eight years as VP he's probably had his fill. He'd probably love to be the head of the EPA, though!

God, I hope not.
I would move to a different country if that tool got the VP spot. He's a hypocrite and a liar, and we've had enough of those in the office.
I'm rooting for Clinton for VP, though I doubt that will happen.

No, he will not accept to be VP again. I think he will end up in some capacity of cabinet level...but I don't think he wants to yet again be VP.

Al would love another kick at the cat.The last time , he didn't impress anyone with HIS inventing the internet or his doom and gloom chants about the weather. He needs the work, not getting the talking gigs he was hoping for.Maybe he and the loser Oh!Bama can play craps after the republicans are re elected

I hope so. He's a much bigger target because he actually has some experience. Granted he's the only looser that had the majority of the popular vote.

I don't think that he would because he feels that he can do more while not in a position of that sort.
