Is there a way to find the mailing address of a soldier overseas?

My foster brother is currently serving in Iraq. He gave me an address for where to reach him, but the letter my mom sent to him was returned. I haven't heard from him in over a month by e-mail and want to contact him. The address includes his battalion and such. Is there a way to find the correct address for him? Maybe if I contact the National Guard?

If he's in a National Guard unit there should be a rear detachment NCO who deals with problems on the home front. There should also be a family support group.

I suggest you call the State Headquarters of the National Guard and ask to get in touch with the family support group of the unit.

I had a similar problem, my best friend was serving, well my mail was returned only to find he was killed. This may not be the case for you and I wish the best of luck. There are ways, have you tried looking up the battalion number online?

I believe it is illegal for anyone, including the National Guard, to give out this kind of info. They have to protect the soldiers of their where abouts. Good luck with your search tho.

Better to contact their head quarters.

Coz he must b transferred to dif place.......or u can request them to send a message to your bro to speak to u people.

Inturn they will inform to Btn.officer n convey your msg. Then

only u can know the Email ID /where abouts.

    All the best.
