Whats the worst car accident....?

My first semester of college, I was riding my bike down a hill and was hit by a pickup truck that ignored the stop sign coming out of a parking lot.

I dented the hood of the truck with my head, and to this day I am thankful that I was wearing a helmet. I got a moderate concussion, fractured the wrist I landed on, screwed up one of my ankles and knees (they still have problems), and got bruised up pretty badly... I got off easy. Usually the cyclist has more damage than the truck, but I caused a fair amount of body work to be done...

My bike didn't survive quite as well... the front tire was bent in half, the brakes were completely shot, and the frame is still warped. Amazingly, it's still mostly functional... or at least, it is after I put the money into fixing it.

The guy paid my medical bills and was kind enough to drive me to the hospital after it happened. He's one of my better friends, now... weird way to meet someone, really.

i am a commercial truck driver,

i see accidents as a way of life on a daily basis.

i am also a first responder to most that i encounter as a former e.m.t.

while training student drivers, one of the things that i teach is to be alert and be aware of you surroundings.

i once had a student in the front seat with me while passing windslow az..as a s.u.v.with Colorado plates speed past us at well over 100 mph,

the car swerved into our lane and missed us by meer inches.

i told my student that we were going to see a wreck and get the camera ready.

within less then a mile the suv turned into the median and started to flip at over 100 mph,both occupants were ejected and the body's were tossed over the high way .

we stopped and called 911 then started to search for body's of this accident.

he found a guy in the weeds of the median and i found a young lady on the lanes of the oncoming traffic.

he seemed dead and she was breathing.

i had my partner cover the guys body with the clothes that had been spread ,and i moved the girl to the edge of the road and covered her with a blanket and started c.p.r.

to my surprise,it too an hour for the ambulance to arrive,and the souls had switched places,the guy came to and started running around looking for MY BABY,MY BABY, this started a new frenzy for another body and the girl passed away.

that was the worst that i have seen.

my student quit driving truck the next morning.

Last year, before i left work i met this guy who was trying to make out with me in a party the week before, so i got really anxious and couldn't think properly. I was at this road junction where i was supposed to stop. I remember seeing the car from the opposite coming, so i did not stop to look. The next thing i know i heard a honk, screech, and a really loud bang coming from the driver's side which hit the middle section of my car. My car swerved. I couldn't remember where i was. All i had in mind was "shoot... my mom is going to kill me for crashing her car". I was hospitalized for two days. Nothing major, just muscle cramps, big time! Anyhow, the car was written off. Imagine being hit by a BMW!

I was 16 and my family was driving home from a road trip across the Navajo Nation which is very remote in some spots. There was road work going on and some drunk went roaring past us and hit a Signman,which actually was a woman,then he went a little further and flipped...This was before cell phones, and there was NOTHING around there---my family stayed with her and the other 2 highway crew members while my dad drove to a trading post to notify the authorities. She lost both her legs.

My mom was in her car driving to the dealership to get it fixed. I was behind her in my car so I could take her back home. The light turned green and she went. All the sudden this guy hits her going at least 50 miles and hour. He had run the red light. I watched as her car spun around. She was in the hospital a few days. I dont even know if the guy got a ticket.

Driving in the mountains, hit a curve too fast, spun out, flew off the road at about 65 and hit a tree stump broadside, wrapped the car around it. I went through the windshield, my roommate was slammed against the passenger door, took out the window with his head. He ended up with a broken back, I ended up with a scratch on my forehead. Needless to say, we didn't drive away in a C shaped car.

My car blew a tire and went off the freeway ramp. I went airborne for what seemed like ten minutes (about three seconds). Car was a mess, and I had a cracked collar bone.

umm.. lets see,

i was hit my a limo when i was 7 in NY, but i just got a dislocated shoulder

then i was hit by a u-haul truck when i was 13 and had a huge gash on top of my head, but luckily the hair covered my scar

and i witnessed a homeless guy get run over by a metro bus in LA when i was 14...yup...

When I was around 5 or 6, I remember a white jeep upside down along with another 2 cars.. and one of the car's front part was damaged completely..

I've been in 22 wrecks and ran over twice. the worst being the time I went of the side of a high bridge and rolled repeatedly. since then, I try not to have loose heavy objects in the car
