Vocal range question?
Hello.
Just a quick question. A couple of years ago I had a one off singing lesson and the teacher said my vocal range was b flat. I didn't think to ask about it at the time, but only thought about it recently when I was talking to a friend about singing.
What kind of vocal range is b flat? Is it a low, medium or high range? etc. As much info as possible would be good. :) Can it be compared to any instrument? As that might help me to understand it a bit better.
Thank you. :)
xx
Heya aching. :)
See, that's what I thought. As a range is from one note to another but I specifically remember the teacher saying my range was b flat which is why I put that in the question. It was about 7 years ago though.

thats not a range, its one note. a b-flat is somewhat high if you hit it in your chest voice.
