No. At maximum suitable, there are small indications of stabalization contained in the banks and markets. Warren Buffet addressed it the day gone by with asserting the bailout infusions contained in the Banks and Securities establishments final Aug by way of Oct is a credit to the Bush administration and he credit Obama's carry by way of. Buffet cautions of the disadvantage which incorporate debt to GDP and skill for inflationary spirals, however the alternative became entire crumple. As to the Stimulus equipment, this is going to take time yet tutor helpful. regrettably, unemployment will good out in late 2010, perchance 10+%.this might tutor a political concern for the persons, and unfavourable to the Dems.

You have to realize the people who can't afford gas and food, are NOT the same people waiting in line for the new iPhone.

There are millions of people living in America. That means there are millions of different financial situations. What is fiscally impractical or impossible to one person, can be perfectly acceptable to the next.

-> Not everyone lives paycheck to paycheck.

-> Not everyone lives at or below the poverty line.

-> Not everyone makes just enough income to cover the bare minimums.

-> Not everyone is in the financial cramp that the news portrays.

A news outlet cannot accurately report on everyone's financial status, all at once. It's not something you can generalize. The economy "crisis" is grossly exaggerated by our alarmist media. The economy isn't perfect right now, but it's certainly not as terrible as it's reported to be.

People who panic and refuse to buy anything, except the bare essentials, are actually making the economy worse.

When you SPEND money, dollars change hands, and the economy GROWS. When you lock up your money, dollars do not change hands, and the economy shrinks.

Besides, the new iPhone is only $200. I know BROKE people who have blown WAY more than that at the local bar or casino...

First of all I think its enough to have a computer at work and home. I think mobile tech is just too much.

Anyways what people are doing is watching their budget, try to fit this in and using a credit card.

Remember no matter how bad the economy is, you spend anyways. People are more worried to invest it until things stabilize .

People are buying what they cant afford so they keep digging themselves deeper into debt and were running out of ways to hold off paying for everything. This causes the economy to basically die over time. And all the problems with foreign oil doesn't help.

Good question. It hard to figure what goes thru peoples heads sometimes. You would think that if times are as hard for them as they would like people to believe then maybe they would save their money. I don't even know what an iphone is other than seeing tv ads. I just can work this computer and my cell phone.

ppl have priorities and to some that is a priority. Not everyone is broke. Ppl pick and choose what they are willing to spend their money on. Like I haven't driven anywhere but to work for this last week so I can have money to go out tonight.

Now THAT's a Sharp Point! And you're RIGHT; things AREN'T as bad as we THINK they are... I have a FEELING- that aLOT of the UNhappiness Americans are expressing these days- has to do with their being Sick & Tired of the Bush Administration... And that as SOON as the Election comes, and Obama becomes President- that everybody's going to feel alot BETTER- and they're ALL going to go out Christmas Shopping, spend alot of $$$- & make the Economy better again! :)

The economy is only bad in short term comparison. In the grand scheme of things, everything is just fine. But no news Sells like Bad news. Thanks objective media!!!
