Isn't it weird that some actors star together again in different movies??!???
Anyone seen Titanic? Well the main charactors: Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet star as Jack and Rose. Well the Movie 'Revolutionary Road' (2008) also have Leo and Kate as the starring charactors: Mr. and Mrs. Wheeler. Isn't it kind of weird that they would star together again as a couple or whatever. I just think it is strange.
I just thought it was, because whichever movie you see first (like titanic) and you see them together again..there not that movies charactors, they're Jack and Rose, to me anyway. Someone I cant change that about the way I see them. lol :P

No, its not weird... Its chemistry. Look at Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson. They appear in each others movies. Stars just become great friends, and usually, the two of them together on screen makes the roles better and stand out. Like Leo and Kate; they played lovers before, and now they're going to be more in character because they know each other.

Look at how much Titanic made.
Would you like to make that much money?
Would a movie with the same stars make as much money?
Is it worth testing them for the roles to see if the chemistry that attracted audiences in that movie when they were younger still works?
Did the movies with Richard Gere and what's her name make money?
You obviously missed the good old days of movies in which starring couples made 6 or 8 movies together - Look up Katerine Hepburn and Spencer Tracy, Judy Garland and short stuff, Fred Astaire and several partners.

It's not uncommon, here's a list of common acting duos:
Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson - lots of movies together.
Ben Affleck and Matt Damon - first movie together was Dogma, IIRC.
Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick - I believe their first movie together was Lion King, and then later they did the remake of The Producers.
Keanu Reeves and Sandra Bullock - Speed, and The Lake House
Robert De Niro and Al Pacino - Heat, and Righteous Kill

yea it's a little strange like Morgan Freeman and Ashley Judd in Along Came a Spider and Kiss the Girls....
i just thinnk that when 2 actors have that chemistry that the producer/director knows they will do well on screen. its type casting to me but if it works..it works

I don't think it's weird. Some actors have a good working chemistry together and that makes for a better; more believable movie.

No it isn't strange, I believe it is called stock, it is usually a firms or directors name then stock, John Wayne and Harry Carrey Jr were both on the same stock list.

Great examples of this are any Adam Sandler movie. I ⥠that he keeps his crew in all of his comedies.
