Lucid dreaming?
Hi, I have a few questions about lucid dreaming. This is a subject I'm extremely interested in and any insight would be extremely appreciated.
First of all, I just wanted to hit up on a few questions I had.
1) How often can you lucidly dream?
2) To what extent can you control your dreams when you become lucid, and is there any way to reach a higher level of lucid dreaming.
3) How often do YOU lucidly dream, and is this on purpose or on accident.
4) How long have you been lucidly dreaming, and how good are you at it, and what can you do in your dreams.
6) This is one I really want to know, what was your best lucid dream?
5) Are there any non-drug sleeping tips you have to share? Because I've not been really sleeping lately.
These are just a few of the questions I'm really interested in getting answerd, if you have anything else to share it would be greatly appreciated, thank you so much!
Yes, I do realize 5 and 6 are switched, thank you so much lol.

1) I lucid dream ever night
2) Before I go to sleep I tell myself that I'm going to go some place and when I fall asleep I find myself there. I'm not sure about a higher level....this is just something I've always been able to do.
3) on purpose and ever night...unless I choose not to.
4)I can do anything I want and I've been doing this for as long as I can remember.
5) hmm probably when I told my friend that when we both we to sleep we would meet up with each other and he agreed and we met up in a dream and had a dream date :P
6) I usually meditate for a bit, take a bath, and listen to some soft music (mostly by the group Secret Garden) not only does this help me fall asleep but it also ensures that I enter into lucid dreaming

1) How often can you lucidly dream?
-I really don't know details.
2) To what extent can you control your dreams when you become lucid, and is there any way to reach a higher level of lucid dreaming.
-I can control it to a level, but I let my dream lead me because I want it to lead me. I control enough of my life when I'm awake. Don't search for a higher level.
3) How often do YOU lucidly dream, and is this on purpose or on accident.
-Rarely. Probably accidents.
4) How long have you been lucidly dreaming, and how good are you at it, and what can you do in your dreams.
-There's no amount of time as to how much you lucid dream....you either do or not..
6) This is one I really want to know, what was your best lucid dream?
-.......
5) Are there any non-drug sleeping tips you have to share? Because I've not been really sleeping lately.
-Work out before sleeping. It'll get you tired. Take a nice shower. Drink some tea. Put on some headphones, and listen to music that relaxes you. I usually go for rock, but it can be only 'soothing' music.. =]

i'm a lucid dreamer and the amount i dream like that can very from every night for about a week to maybe two or three times a month...but i tend to dream lucidly more often then not
when u say a high level do you mean more control over your dreaming if so then the amount of control i have over my dreams can vary as well
sometimes i feel like im a character in a movie who doesn't know the script...its like the story in the dream continues on like its not aware that im not following along
and other times i can have absolute control over my dreams, changing anything i feel like
the more aware i am that it is a dream the more control i have but the less rested i feel when i wake up
ive been able to dream lucidly for as long as i can remember...atleast since elemtary school
the best dreams i can remember are the ones that i have less control over actually. the dreams that are like im an uncooperative character in a movie they can be really funny
ive actually had people in my dreams tell me to stop messing with the story before
you do realize that 5&6 are switched right?
but anyway i really dont know what it is that triggers the dreams so i cant help u with #5 sorry

Interesting way of describing it. If we go far away from the hectic routine and the crowds of opinions, viewing it all from the distance, yes, we might see it as a lucid dream within another lucid dream. After all, in a world where the rules of logic are questionable, how do we know if what we see, touch or hear is truly there? How do we define logic or reality? In the absence of those two bases of the world, we could safely assume that life is just a matter of perception. Humans are creatures that live according to the rules of their own instincts of perception. We're capable of maintaining lucidity and power of comprehension, therefore we're still aware - hence the LUCID dream. But the limits of reality are questionable - hence the dream. If every action is based on personal instincts and personal matters of perception, then one act after the other means one lucid dream within another lucid dream. After all, we're all dreams inside the dream of a dreamer who's been asleep since the beginning of time. We're all the lucid products of a dreamer who sleeps at the gate of time. When he/she obtains dream lucidity, his/her consciousness will be awoken, and when looking inside of his/her own dreams, we'll be inevitably faced with our own reflection. And we'll wake up. The dream will end and we'll remain in the pure form of lucidity. :)

well you're not actually lucid when you're dreaming its called lucid dreaming because the dreams seem so real that you think you're actually living them ( or awake when you're not)
I've only done it a few times and mine were all nightmares. I couldn't control what happened in them at all
well you could try taking melatonin at night.. (its not a drug you're body actually makes melatonin ) its an over the counter pill.. my son takes them at night because his adhd meds keep him up.

* It's nice to have nice dreams while sleeping.
* But, healthy, practical conscious dreams can become useful to individuals and society.
* 'Too much of anything is good for nothing !'
