Regs on NG NCOs and Officers dating...?

I have read the regulations about fratenization, but it seems like an open question still for me about officers and NCO's in the National Guard... as long as it's not a drill/AT weekend, it's okay to have a dating relationship? I mean... you can not help who you fall in love with...and what if you meet someone and really fall for them, then you learn the both of you are in the military, ones officer and the other is NCO... rules and regulations are confusing....

I don't see anything confusing about it. Its wrong and its against the regulations. It will bring you nothing but trouble.

I am sure it is frowned upon. I know it is different for the NG because of there deployment schedules. What you have to take into account when you "fall" for someone is that if he or she can fit into your commitment to the NG.

You can rationalize all you like about how easy it will be, but that does not make it true. The rules are there for a reason, so that there can be no possible way for there to look like there is an influence upon a spouses career good or bad. If the person you meet is truly the right person for you, then wait until there is no possible way for there to be conflict of obligation and then start your lives together. If the feelings are not there when that time comes, then maybe they were not the right person for you and you saved yourself many heartaches.

    ???

Anyone who is subject to the UCMJ, and who fratenizes is commiting a felony.
